I painted the depths of the sea in phthalo blue, with dark areas and flashes of light, like what is left of a ship that never came home.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNames are written into the paint, floating in the water like whispers. While painting it, I felt close to those lost stories, sad and beautiful at once. Some are matte, some glossy, some smooth, some thick with texture. The sections touch and answer each other, and the eye keeps moving from one to the next.
