HAS COLOR DISAPPEARED FROM OUR DAILY LIFE? ?

I discovered a report that explores a very relevant subject : the reasons why colors have disappeared from our lives and I wanted to share it with you.

This fact is widely demonstrated in our modern urban environment and the way we interact with it.

Buildings and urban infrastructure are often designed in a monochrome manner, which means that there is little color variation in our environment. Besides, many everyday objects, such as cell phones and computers, are often made in neutral, monochrome colors, which contributes to the impression that color has disappeared from our lives.

Yet, we cannot ignore the importance of color. Colors affect our mood, stimulate our creativity and improve our productivity.

Color is often used as a way to communicate, whether through road signs or advertising panels, emoticons…

It is important to become aware of its impact in our lives and look for ways to integrate it more into our environment.

By choosing bright colors for our clothing or integrating elements of color into our interior decoration, we can help bring color back into our lives and improve our overall well-being.

If everyone starts using neutral colors like beige, the mole, grey, black, this will lead to a standardization of individuals. Neutral colors are often considered colors “safe” and “classics”, but their excessive use can also be perceived as monotonous, boring, without energy.

The use of bright colors can be seen as a way to assert your personality and stand out in a world that tends towards standardization.

Those who use color in their lives are seen as creative, expressive and having a vibrant personality, but can also very quickly be considered as marginal, of the “originals” !.

On the other hand, those who use neutral colors may be perceived as conservative or conformist, more serious, plus “recommended”.

Really, I think it is important not to let the standardization of colors limit our personal expression and our individuality otherwise we will become a dull civilization, dull.

For my part, this takes me directly to a sort of unique thought, and I find it sad !

What do you think ?

  • Personally I can't live without color.
My job as a sign language interpreter requires me to wear dark, solid colors.
But in my private life, I wear colors, my walls, my furniture, my bags, my shoes are colorful.
In fact I noticed that in the street, especially in winter everyone wears black or dark colors. It’s a shame this standardization.
    Color is life !!!
