Like a river, art is made up of multiple streams that have flooded our cultures, lives and history for millennia. Art mocks
our borders and our beliefs.

But, like the torrent of the river, art is indomitable.
No dam is powerful enough to stop it.
The art is colorful, cheerful, dark and multiple. It is the image of past, present and future artists that continue to feed this flow of creativity that participates in the history of our people.

Art is the essence of our hopes, emotions and love of life.

From the 15th to the 17th of December, anyone passing through Xuventude de Galicia – Centro Galego de Lisboa will come across the exhibition “Rio de Arte”, where 4 artists will gather to show a journey through the colors and materials
used to create the pigments throughout of history.

They are small details that have become indispensable in our lives. A vivid range of paintings and sculptures that celebrate eclectic modern art with different ways of expressing and seeing the present day.
