the “Ericeira Arts Center” is more than just an art gallery. It's an extraordinary adventure that has become reality thanks to Ron Logan, the owner of this gallery, and I want to thank him on behalf of all the local artists for giving us this opportunity to meet the public thanks to this creation.

This project is the result of a series of incredible synchronicities and providential collaborations. When at the beginning of July, Ron Logan, American painter and initiator of the project, told me about the idea of ​​creating a space that celebrates local artistic diversity, this idea started to take shape. His passion for art and his desire to create a place where creativity could flourish were the driving force behind this adventure..

There was no shortage of challenges along the way, but with unwavering determination and hours of hard work, Ron Logan and his team succeeded in bringing this exceptional art gallery to life. Every hammer blow, every decision, was imbued with their passion, fueling their dream of seeing the gallery come to fruition.

The opening of “Ericeira Arts Center” the 12 August marked a fundamental turning point in our lives. See nine local artists exhibit their works, feel the enthusiasm and amazed gaze of visitors, was an incredible experience.

The gallery finds its cradle in the heart of Ericeira (Portugal) in a building steeped in history which housed for many generations the UFO stationery which also sold small toys sowing stars in the eyes of the children of the village. This transformation into a space where art finds new meaning, where stories intersect and emotions come to life, is a remarkable achievement.

The works presented carry within them a part of each of us. Each visitor becomes part of this evolving artistic story and we continue to sow stars in the eyes and hearts of all who cross the threshold of this legendary house..

The gallery is open every day, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.. I will be personally present every weekend, Joséphine and Susana will be delighted to welcome you on the other days.
