Open Studio Day in Ericeira with A Loja do Xavier | 13 December 2025

This Open Studio Day took place on 13 December 2025. Since then, I have kept welcoming visitors at my studio: see my Open House of May 2026 and my exhibitions page.

On 13 December 2025, I opened the doors of my studio and my home in Ericeira, turned into an art gallery for the day.

After two years without hosting an event, it was the chance to show all the new paintings created during that time, from XS to XXL. Nothing compares to seeing a painting in person: its colours, its depth, its texture, its presence… things no photo ever really captures.

A warm, relaxed day

I wanted this day to be welcoming, simple and lively. Everyone could walk around freely, take their time, look closely, share their impressions and simply enjoy the moment. With the festive season coming, it was also a nice way to find a unique gift with soul, far from mass-produced objects.

My paintings and Xavier's wines

This edition was marked by a collaboration that means a lot to me: I welcomed A Loja do Xavier. Together, we brought our two arts into dialogue: my paintings and Xavier's world of wine. On the day, visitors could discover my new works and taste the wines Xavier presented. Two different worlds, naturally connected by the same wish to share something genuine.

Inclusion is a value that matters deeply to me. I met Xavier and his family the year before, and their kindness, their strength and the way they support each other stayed with me. Xavier is a young adult full of curiosity and generosity, truly committed to his project. He chooses the wines of his shop with care, with his family's support, in a sincere approach built on quality and human commitment. I tell his story in A Loja do Xavier, a story of courage, family and true inclusion.
