Who is Lenon B?

I'm Lenon B, a French painter living and working in Ericeira, on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. My studio is in my home: this is where my paintings are born, and where I love to welcome you.

I believe I was born an artist

But for a long time, I didn't dare. I didn't really know how to begin, and I had neither the time nor the space. Then one day, I simply started. I tried, I took the time, and something opened up.

I attempted an academic path at the Félix Ciccolini art school in Aix-en-Provence, but I consider myself first and foremost self-taught. Painting has become my breath: a simple, vital space of my own. It gave me confidence, and even if doubt is still there, it no longer stops me.

My painting

What I love most is not the result, it's the act itself: the gesture, the moment, the dialogue with the material. I play with colours, textures and layers, from abstract works inspired by the ocean and the light of Ericeira to my Pop Seventies paintings, bold and joyful.

My colours say my joy of living. Each canvas carries an emotion, and I like to think that everyone can find their own story in it.

Since 2021, I have exhibited in Portugal, France, Italy and Belgium, and received prizes and awards at exhibitions in Europe.
