Roussillon is a diptych now housed in the Heritage Conservatory of the Concelho de Mafra, Portugal. It pays tribute to the namesake village in the Luberon, where sunlight blends with the warmth of ochre-rich earth to create unforgettable landscapes.
Both panels reveal a rich palette of coppery earth, brick red, and burnt sienna, echoing the cliffs and quarries that have made the region famous. A glossy resin coating enhances the depth and brightness of the colors, creating a mesmerizing play of light.
