"Perguntas ao Vento" at ARCA Gallery The One, Lisbon | 2022

From 20 August to 20 September 2022, my paintings were part of the group exhibition "Perguntas ao Vento" ("Questions to the Wind"), curated by Gretta Balin at ARCA Gallery The One, in Lisbon. It brought together Portuguese and international artists, each with their own way of answering the wind.
A gallery inside a palace hotel
ARCA Gallery The One is a space for exhibitions and cultural events in the heart of Lisbon, inside the The One Palácio da Anunciada hotel. Its aim is to bring the public closer to contemporary visual artists, and it gives emerging talent a carefully curated setting in which to show and sell their work.
The gallery's name, Art Gallery The One, echoes the hotel's identity. And the exhibition doesn't stop at the gallery walls: the works also hang in the bar and the restaurant, so you come across art over a coffee or a meal.
The artists
Alongside me, Gretta Balin brought together François Farcy, Paulo Canilhas, João da Silva, Hans Varela, Luís Filipe de Araújo, Jorge Moreira, Pedro César Teles, Filomena Parra, Maria José Leal, Anabela Reis, Vanusa Vasconcelos, Maria Godinho, Arménio Santos, Marta Alabau, Isabel Machado, Xicofran and Niurka Bou.
And since then
Since 2022, my paintings have travelled to many other exhibitions. Today, I mostly welcome visitors at my studio in Ericeira, during my Open House days, in spring and early December. You can also browse my abstract paintings online.
