Selected for the Artist Meeting in Knokke 2025

This exhibition took place from 21 to 24 August 2025. You can read how it went in my Knokke 2025 report.

A lovely step in my journey as a painter: I was selected for the Artist Meeting in Knokke, in Belgium. The idea of this event: emerging talents shown alongside established artists, in an iconic place, the Grand Casino of Knokke 📍.

The Artist Meeting, a window on contemporary art

The Artist Meeting gives the selected artists real international visibility. Online, it reaches more than 40,000 art lovers and 20,000 art professionals. On site, visitors can see the works in person and talk directly with the artists.

Showing my paintings at the Grand Casino of Knokke, a historic venue that has welcomed some of the great names of art, was both an honour and a rare chance for me.

A jury of experts

The jury is made up of well-known figures of contemporary art, such as Willem Elias, Hugo Brutin and Hilde Van Canneyt. Their eye guarantees the quality of the event, and each juror can also nominate a project for a special award.

Why this selection matters to me

It is more than one more exhibition: it is a real recognition of my work and of my approach as a self-taught painter. It is also a chance to meet new collectors, gallery owners and art lovers, and that opens doors to keep exploring, creating and sharing my world with you.

Knokke, a city of art

Did you know that Knokke-Heist has more than 90 galleries in just 2 km²? The city also hosts the Knokke Art Fair, which draws collectors from all over the world. And you can walk among outdoor sculptures, such as Barry Flanagan's Hospitality in the Het Zwin nature reserve.

Since then, the adventure has continued with other exhibitions, which you can follow on my exhibitions page.
