La Vie Est Belle: Colour Out of the Dark

With "La Vie Est Belle", a large acrylic canvas of 100 × 100 cm, I wanted to celebrate the beauty that comes out of the dark.

Colour on a night-black background

The background is a deep black, like the night. On it, bursts of every colour light up the canvas and answer each other. I like to think of each colour as a musical note: together, they sing a little song to life.

Light after the dark moments

This painting speaks about the two sides of life: the light that springs from difficult moments. The colours are sometimes separate, sometimes mixed, a bit like our own stories, emotions and experiences, which end up weaving together.

A tribute to resilience

"La Vie Est Belle" is my tribute to human resilience. Everyone can find their own colours and their own melody in it. Whatever the challenges, it reminds us that beauty and a bit of magic are always there.
