"Lisboa" takes you to the heart of this incredible city, immortalized by the words of Fernando Pessoa. This large-scale painting is a visual explosion of vibrant colors, evoking the lively facades of Lisbon's iconic architecture. Through this piece, I wanted to capture both the charm and complexity of the city, where vibrancy meets introspection.
A Kaleidoscope of Colors
The vivid and varied colors on the canvas swirl together in a lively dance, reflecting the rich energy of Lisbon. Each hue embodies the vitality of this city, yet amidst this profusion of shades, a subtle melancholy emerges, reminding us of the city's complex emotions.

Hidden within the painting, almost imperceptibly, are lines from Pessoa’s iconic poem: "Lisboa com suas casas de várias cores".
