Lisbon as Fernando Pessoa saw it. Lots of bright colours, like the façades of the old neighbourhoods, and behind them a gentle sadness, the saudade that belongs to this city.
Hidden in the layers of paint are his words: "Lisboa com suas casas de várias cores", Lisbon with its houses of many colours. Pessoa found a kind of monotony in all that colour, as if the city kept something deeper behind its walls.
It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection.
