Grey-blue, bronze, a little gold and some white: the colours of London when the fog hasn't lifted yet. The shapes are blurred, like shadows passing in a street you half remember.

Monet said that without the fog, London would not be a beautiful city. I rather agree. Here and there the gold catches the light, like a street lamp at dusk on wet cobblestones.

It belongs to my Soft Shades collection.
