Poppies is all curves, and mostly red, the red of poppies in a field. Round shapes slide into each other, with a seventies feel.
It's a happy painting. I wanted the red to be warm, not aggressive: the red of flowers, not of a stop sign. 80 × 80 cm.
It belongs to my Pop Seventies and Colors in Freedom collections.
