From a distance you see soft blues and ochres, as if a veil had been laid over the canvas. Come closer and faces start to appear, a few silhouettes, very discreet. They are the people we have lost, who stay close anyway.
Here and there I wrote a few words in charcoal, barely visible: "rest in peace", "requiem aeternam". It is a quiet painting, made to remember gently.
It belongs to my Atlantic Blues and Soft Shades collections.
