São Julião is a beach just south of Ericeira, and sunset there is something I never get tired of. On this canvas, blue takes almost all the room: pale, deep, a little grey in places, like the sea when the wind drops.
Around it runs a fine orange line, the last light of the day. Just a thin edge of warmth against all that freshness. At 100 × 100 cm, the blue has room to breathe.
