You only have to read the title and the song comes back: Sur la plage abandonnée, the first words of Brigitte Bardot's La Madrague, 1963. I painted what it makes me feel: summer, warm sand, the lightness of those years.
The geometric shapes answer each other like a chorus, and the colours are holiday colours, bright and happy. A small canvas that puts a room in a good mood.
