The series ends in a city it has visited before: Barcelona. For 1929, Mies van der Rohe built the German Pavilion there, marble, glass, a thin roof and almost nothing else. He's the one who said "Less is more".
My canvas doesn't really follow his advice, there's plenty of colour on it: blue, yellow, orange and black. It's the last of the 20 canvases of my World's Fair series, which can hang alone or together.
It belongs to my Pop Seventies collection.
