ART EXPO ALGARVE in Portimão | Stand 78

I took part in ART EXPO ALGARVE, the largest contemporary art event in southern Portugal, at stand 78. The fair was founded in 2019 by a group of gallery owners and curators, to meet the growing need for a place to show art in the region.
Meeting the artists directly
Held at the Arena de Portimão, the fair brings together independent artists, galleries and artist collectives from all over the world. What I like about it is the direct contact: visitors meet the artists face to face, talk with them about their work, and can buy a piece directly, with no intermediary. Knowing the person behind a painting gives it even more meaning.
You'll find all kinds of styles there, from painting and sculpture to mixed media and digital art, whether you're a collector or simply curious.
At stand 78
On my stand, I showed my latest paintings, and it was a pleasure to talk with you about my creative process, my inspirations and the stories behind each canvas.

Since then, I mostly welcome visitors at my studio in Ericeira, during my Open House days, in spring and early December. You can also browse my abstract paintings and my Pop Seventies collection online.
