I took part in the Montanhas d'Artes festival in Oliveira do Hospital, Portugal, with my painting "Janelas da fé" (Windows of Faith), a 120 x 120 cm canvas. I announced it on 25 April, and I'm still very fond of this painting: it speaks of hope and belief.
The journey of "Janelas da fé"
The painting was first shown in the main hall of the Câmara Municipal (town hall) of Oliveira do Hospital, until June 2021. It then moved to the municipal vaccination centre, where it stayed until August. Knowing it was there, bringing a little colour and hope to people at such a difficult time, meant a lot to me.

I'm proud to have been part of this exhibition. A big thank you to the Câmara Municipal team, who organised it so well despite the health restrictions, and who do so much for art and culture in their community.
