On Saturday 10 October, I will be at Quinta da Almiara, in Torres Vedras, for a tertúlia organised by Summerwine collective: an afternoon where literature, wine, music and painting meet.
The programme

- 16:30 · Visit of the Quinta da Almiara winery
- 17:00 · Wine tasting
- 17:30 · Music with Rapaz Improvisado and an exhibition of my paintings
- 18:30 · Close of the tertúlia
A collective canvas, painted by everyone
I am bringing a canvas prepared in advance, in the colours of my world with a nod to the vineyard and the wine. Every guest will be invited to add their own touch with a brush, a posca pen or a sponge. No painting skills needed, just the wish to play.
The finished artwork will be unveiled at my Open House on 5 December. I will also present a small selection of my paintings, my catalogues and my MARY notebooks.
Quinta da Almiara, a place close to my heart
With more than 40 years of history and 200 hectares of vineyards, Quinta da Almiara is a beautiful setting for this kind of encounter. I am especially happy to come back: I already exhibited my work there in 2022, during a day of wine, art and music.
