Looking Back on SIAC Marseille 2024

From 15 to 18 March 2024, I took part in the International Contemporary Art Fair (SIAC) at Parc Chanot in Marseille, my hometown, for the second year in a row (here is what I presented at Stand 74). Showing my work in such a special place, surrounded by family, friends and new faces, is always a unique experience.

My roots, and the people around me

This year, I realised how much my roots matter to me, and how attached I am to so many people. The warmth of the public and their recognition really touched me. I was also honoured to be ranked among the five artists the public liked best, in fourth place, out of the 170 artists present. Your support and encouragement keep me going.

The Minis de Lenon

I was so happy that my little gems, the Minis de Lenon, sparked so much enthusiasm. Your feedback and your interest in these works are a real reward for all the work and love I put into them.

A priority that paid off

SIAC was my priority for 2024, and I'm glad it was a success. I left already wanting to come back.

A big thank-you to each and every one of you: family, friends, fellow artists, and the strangers who took the time to stop by my stand and share a moment with me. I won't forget your smiles and your kind words.

One small shadow

There was one downside, though: a charming couple took three canvases from my giant puzzle “World's Fair” and left without paying. It left a slightly bitter taste, since artists live from their passion too, but I'd rather believe it was an oversight. Above all, I choose to remember the lovely energy you brought me.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being such a precious part of my life and my journey as an artist. Your encouragement makes me want to keep going with even more determination.
