A Painting with Ten Hands, for Ana's Birthday

Manuela, Cristina, Tanja and Isabel had one idea in mind : give Ana an experience for her birthday, not an object.

We set up a festive mood in the studio : a cake, sparkling wine, candles, music. No rigid instructions, no pressure — just five women, one canvas, and the wish to create together.

Guided by music, in good spirits, they painted with ten hands. Each one added her colour, her gesture, her trace — without worrying about the result, only about the moment.

The artwork born from that afternoon belongs to no one in particular : it carries a little of Manuela, Cristina, Tanja, Isabel — and a lot of Ana, who kept it. She looks at it every day now, and every day she thinks of her friends.

This is exactly what I want to offer through MARY : not just a memory, but a tangible trace of a shared moment.
