The 50 Shades of Blue of Our Summers | July 2026

Dear friend,

When I was a child, summer meant the long holidays.

The sea, the salt drying on our skin, those dozens of shades of blue blending between sky and water, the warmth of the sun that stayed with us until evening.

We shared the simplest things, with no timetable, until nightfall. A true carefreeness, a free rhythm, with no constraints.

That is the freedom I wish you this summer.

Take the time to see the people you love, to spend time with family and friends, with no other plan than being together.

Go and discover new landscapes. And stay attentive to the colours of life, the ones that move you, calm you or give you a lift.

If the chance arises, step into a gallery, wander through a museum. And if you have children with you, take them along: awakening them to art from an early age is such a beautiful gift.

As for me, I'll also use these weeks to recharge my batteries and look for new inspiration, which I can't wait to share with you as soon as it takes shape…

My studio stays open all summer

If you're passing through Ericeira, don't hesitate to come by my studio. I'll be happy to show you my latest paintings over a coffee. Just write to me to arrange a time.

What if this summer was also a chance to take a little time for yourself?

MARY – Make Art Reconnect Yourself offers simple, accessible creative experiences to breathe, create and reconnect with yourself.

I wish you a summer full of encounters, light and beautiful discoveries.

I'm already looking forward to seeing you again in September with new works, new ideas… and, I hope, new moments to share together.

With all my tenderness,

Lenon B
