Clay Modelling Workshop — Dialoguing with Matter

Here, it’s not a class, it’s an experience. 

A pause to breathe, feel, dare.

I welcome you into my Artist studio in Ericeira, where all materials are provided.

You take a block of clay, a bowl of water, simple tools… and then you knead, roll, press, assemble.
No aesthetic expectations, no model — each gesture becomes a discovery.

Why clay modelling

Clay responds immediately to the hand. It keeps the imprint of every gesture — pressure, hesitation, impulse.
It’s a living material, an invitation to slow down, feel, and reconnect with both your body and your imagination.

What it brings

  • Deep relaxation through direct contact with matter
  • A way to express emotions without words
  • A better sense of self through tactile sensations
  • A playful space to rediscover the joy of experimenting like a child
  • A personal trace to take home, even simple, even unfinished

Goal of the session : not to “make an artwork”, but to live a tactile, new experience with clay — and leave lighter.

Certified in professional art therapy, I accompany you without diagnosis or forced interpretation, with simple and caring listening.

My role : Open the Way and hold the space.

  • Duration : 2 h to 2 h 30 (flexible, at your pace)
  • Private sessions only : one-to-one or pre-formed groups (no mixed groups, no strangers)

Clay Modelling (hand-building)

No kiln firing (air-dry clay only).

Solo — 60 €

One-to-one guidance.
Each participant creates their own piece.
Air-dry clay only — you take your piece home the same day.

Duo — 110 € (2 h 30)

For pre-formed duos only (arrive together). Friends, couple, parent and child.
Each person works on their own piece, at their own rhythm.
Air-dry clay only.

Small groups — 50 € / person (3 to 4 people)

Pre-formed groups only (arrive together). I never mix strangers.
Relaxed and joyful. Same care and guidance for everyone.
One piece per person from start to finish.
Air-dry clay only.

  • Ericeira — Artist studio, address shared after booking
  • Schedule : 7 days a week by appointment
  • Morning 10–12 am, Afternoon 3–5 pm, Evening 7–9 pm
