Drawing Azulejos – The Portuguese Tradition

Here, it’s not a class, it’s an experience.

I welcome you into my Artist studio in Ericeira, for a gentle encounter with the Portuguese tradition of azulejos — hand-painted tiles that tell stories of sea, light, and time.

We’ll draw on paper, not ceramic — easier, freer, and ready to be framed if you wish to keep it as a souvenir.

Using simple stencils inspired by authentic motifs, you’ll create your own design, playing with shapes, rhythm, and color.You can stay within the classic blue and white palette, or reinvent the harmony using all the shades available to you.

No drawing skills required.
It’s a creative moment to explore, enjoy, and let your imagination flow — a quiet dialogue between you and Portuguese heritage.

Goal of the session : not to “make an artwork”, but to live a meditative and creative experience — and leave lighter.

Solo session
€ 40 for one people

One-to-one session.
Gentle guidance, intuitive drawing, and full freedom in colours and forms.
No need to know how to draw — the focus is on flow and presence.

Duo session
€ 70 for two people
→ € 35 per person

Come as a pair and share a calm, joyful creative moment with no pressure.
Friends, couple, parent and child, siblings — each person creates at their own rhythm, together.

Small groups (3 to 4 people)
€ 35 per person
Pre-formed groups only (arrive together). I never mix strangers.
