Arlequin is a patchwork of squares, like the harlequin's costume. Green leads, with blue, red, yellow and a few touches of gold in between.
Each colour leans on its neighbour and none of them takes over. I thought of Paul Klee's squares, and of what he wrote in his diary in Tunisia: “Colour and I are one. I am a painter.”
