Ecstasy is full to the brim: reds, greens, purples and gold, all turning the same way. Nothing was drawn first, every stroke went straight onto the paper.
The gold catches the light when you walk past and gives the colours a little shine. A small sheet, 47.5 × 30 cm, with a lot going on.
It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection. See all the works of the Art Paper series.
Would you like to see it in person? I welcome visitors to my studio in Ericeira, by appointment: send me a message on WhatsApp.
