Azulejos are the painted tiles you find all over Portugal, on churches, in stations, on the fronts of houses. I wanted my own version, without copying any pattern.
Only blues, in layers and textures, light and dark side by side. From a distance it reads like a tiled wall. Up close, it's just paint.
