Michelangelo's David is one of the most famous bodies in the world. I wanted to find him again with almost nothing: soft yellows and blues, a few fluid movements, and a silhouette you guess more than you see.
There is no face and no detail. If you know the statue, your eye fills in the rest on its own. It is a small canvas, 46 × 38 cm, easy to place on a narrow wall.
It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection.
