When I painted Earth, I thought of Jules Verne and his Journey to the Center of the Earth. Blue covers most of the canvas, with small spots of colour coming through, like the planet seen from very far away, or from very deep inside.
The surface is full of tiny bubbles in relief. You want to touch them, and up close they look like a relief map. A square of 60 × 60 cm, blue through and through.
It belongs to my Atlantic Blues and Colors in Freedom collections.
