Marseille is a city close to my heart, and this little canvas is a nod to the Mucem and its concrete lace façade, designed by the architect Rudy Ricciotti.
Broken shapes in red, blue, green, yellow, pink and violet stand out on a deep black, like light coming through the openings. One of my Minis GEOMETRIK 20, 20 × 20 cm, and a small piece of Marseille.
It belongs to my Pop Seventies collection.
