Soft greys, sandy beiges and warm taupes, fitted together like stones worn smooth by time. The shapes break up into facets, a little nod to cubism.
Cézanne's advice was to "treat nature by means of the cylinder, the sphere and the cone", and the cubists took him at his word. Igor is my quiet version of it: no loud colour, just close tones that calm a room down.
