Indigo is a blue with a lot of night in it. Here it is laid in layers, dark in some places, brighter in others, and the pieces of colour look like small windows lit from behind.
Nothing in it moves very fast. It is a calm canvas, 40 × 40 cm, the kind you look at in the evening, when the house goes quiet.
It belongs to my Atlantic Blues and Colors in Freedom collections. See all the works of the Kaleidoscopes series.
Would you like to see it in person? I welcome visitors to my studio in Ericeira, by appointment: send me a message on WhatsApp.
