Scarlett is the hottest of the Kaleidoscopes. Deep reds and warm oranges, a few bright bursts, and some quieter corners where the red goes darker.
Every patch was put down with the knife, so the surface is never quite flat. It is a small canvas, 40 × 40 cm, but it warms up a whole wall.
It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection. See all the works of the Kaleidoscopes series.
Would you like to see it in person? I welcome visitors to my studio in Ericeira, by appointment: send me a message on WhatsApp.
