Bal Masqué is a large-scale canvas born during the pandemic, yet its meaning extends far beyond sanitary masks. It speaks of the invisible masks we all wear daily. On a dark, vibrant background, white lines sketch anonymous faces, reflecting our need for protection — from the outside world and from ourselves.
While creating this piece, I thought of the roles we play in life’s grand theater. These connected faces form a silent dance, reminding us that behind every mask lie shared emotions.
