Méli-mélo is French for a jumble, and that's exactly what it is: free shapes outlined in black, tangled together across nine canvases. Reds, greens, yellows and a few fluorescent tones bump into each other. It reminds me of the colourful puzzles I had as a child.
Each 40 × 40 cm canvas works on its own, and together they make a 120 × 120 cm square. You can hang all nine as one block, or spread them over several rooms. It belongs to my Pop series.
