Melting Pot is made of thirteen sections, and I gave each one its own technique. Some are matte, some glossy, some smooth, some thick with texture. Soft tones sit right next to bright bursts of colour.
It was a bit like cooking with everything in the cupboard. The sections touch and answer each other, and the eye keeps moving from one to the next. On a 120 × 120 cm canvas, there is room for all of them.
It belongs to my The One-Offs and Colors in Freedom collections.
