A red background, really red, and on it big curves in black, teal, yellow and white. Oxygène 11 comes straight from the psychedelic patterns of the seventies, the ones you saw on wallpaper, record sleeves and dresses.
The curves run off the edges, as if the pattern carried on beyond the canvas. At 40 × 40 cm, it does very well alone, or next to other paintings from the series.
It belongs to my Pop Seventies collection.
