Pixels is made of squares and rectangles put together freely, in yellow, blue, green and orange. No grid and no rule: each block finds its own place next to the others.
From a distance it looks like a screen up close, hence the name. From nearby it is all paint, with the small irregularities of the hand. On a 100 × 100 cm canvas, the colours have plenty of room.
It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection.
Would you like to see it in person? I welcome visitors to my studio in Ericeira, by appointment: send me a message on WhatsApp.
