Le Prix des allumettes, Stone and Charden, 1972. They were a couple, and you could hear it when they sang together. Just the title takes me back to those years and the radio on all summer.
I painted geometric shapes that fit together and clear, happy colours, the mood of a song you hum without thinking. A small 40 × 40 cm canvas from my Seventies Pop series.
