Sintra, in the hills near Lisbon, is forests, fog and palaces. In the middle of the canvas, a square of gold for its hidden treasures. Around it, green for the forest, and touches of orange and white for the Pena Palace and the National Palace.

Byron, passing through, called it a "glorious Eden". Two centuries later the mystery is still there, and I wanted to keep a little of it.

It belongs to my Colors in Freedom collection.
