Time Capsule — Connecting Past, Present and Future

I welcome you into my Artist studio in Ericeira, where all materials are provided.
You’ll create a personal capsule — a box or jar — that connects memories, small creations, and letters to the future.
No performance, no “right” or “wrong” choices — just a simple, mindful gesture.
Why a Time Capsule
Sometimes, it’s about gently gathering what truly matters and keeping it alive.
The capsule offers a space for that — simple, soothing, and clarifying.
Inside, there are words, fragments, traces of life. You choose, you name, you seal.
It’s a calm and symbolic gesture, almost a small ritual, that helps you pause, reflect, and make room for what comes next.
You can keep it for tomorrow, for later, or for years… the moment is yours to choose.
And when the day comes to open it — or when someone else does — it will feel like finding an old box in a family attic, filled with small personal treasures to rediscover or to pass on.

How it works
You’ll select 3 to 7 themes.
Write 2 to 5 letters or notes to the future.
Create small talisman-objects to slip inside the capsule.
Then assemble, name, and seal it — a simple ritual, without solemnity.
Possible variations
- Duo capsule: each person creates their own, then exchanges one crossed letter
- Thematic capsule: “What I’d like to tell you on your 18th birthday” · “What I never dared to tell you” · “My advice for being happy…”
- Annual capsule: one each year to build a lineage
- Birth capsule: A gift for a newborn that tells the story of life at the time of their birth, to be opened only on their 18th birthday.
- Family or friendship capsule: to celebrate connection, birthdays or weddings
My role : Open the Way and hold the space.
Welcome, short guidance, exploration at your rhythm, non-judgement, integrity of the works respected, optional sharing.
Certified in professional art therapy, I accompany you without diagnosis or forced interpretation, with simple and caring listening.

All sessions include one coffee, tea or lemonade, plus a small homemade cake.
- Duration : 2 h to 2 h 30 (flexible, at your pace)
- Private sessions only : one-to-one or pre-formed groups (no mixed groups, no strangers)

Time Capsule Creation
Solo — 90 €
70 € session + 20 € container & finishes)
Includes: memory & message concept, box/jar, special papers, varnish/seal, labels.
Duo — 180 €
Pre-formed duos only (arrive together). Each creates their own capsule.
Same inclusions for both participants.
Practical info
- Ericeira — Artist studio, address shared after booking
- Schedule : 7 days a week by appointment
- Morning 10–12 am, Afternoon 3–5 pm, Evening 7–9 pm
- Booking at least 24 hours in advance
